Good to see Jason Quick back in business today. His article was one of just a handful over the last few months that he has written. I always enjoy reading Jason's work and look forward to another season reading him on a daily basis.

So Jason, this note is for you. I appreciatte you as a writer and I thoroughly enjoy your interviews on Thursdays with your mate from Manchester. I also feel bad that you were publicly humiliated over the coaching hire debacle...what was the name of that guy? Mike Icoroni? Iavorroni? What? I can't even remember, I guess he never got hired.

One more thing, put a little sugar in the spoon this season, it will make the medicine go down easier. My hope this year is that you keep clear of the politics within the Blazers...Let Canzano dig up the dirt, he is a columnist. You just be our favorite reporter. Thanks for all that you do.

Apparantly not.

I liked the article he wrote last week. I didn't read the one today.

His Damon-love and Sheed-hate years, however, are still etched in my mind. The guy was completely blinded and seemingly never wrote anything that reminded me of an objective insightful basketball article or game report.

He didn't even report on the Blazers exhilerating (maybe even 'liberating') victory over the Lakers at the end of the season, instead publishing a pre-canned year-end hatchet job retrospective.

I hope he does as "red" said in his last paragraph, i.e. stick to basketball and stay clear of the politics. But even if he does, it seems unlikely he'll ever be MY "favorite reporter."

I don't mind Quick, or have the ire most people on this board have for him. But he made rediculas comments in favor of Derek Anderson and Damon Stoudamire. I can't fault him for bashing Rasheed and Bonzi, because those guys are complete morons.

But now he's lashed out at Randolph and Telfair, he called Telfair a "punk". And I'm not sure what the new guys have done to deserve that attack.

Hey guys, if you are going to describe someone with a negative adjective then please spell the word correctly.

Jason Quick is rediculas???

Jason Quick's reporting is uninteligent?

Something tells me that the spelling may be ridiculous, dumb and unintelligent.

By the way, I am not Jason Quick.

Well you could be the mate from Manchester. But it's well know that Jason favors certain guys, and writes bad about other people he dislikes. All the time last yr, he use to bring up how Zach is overpaid, Darius is overpaid, without mentioning Theo, D.A. and of course Damon. And Darius is not that overpaid to be honest. And I could go on and on how he favors other players, and writes it's a negative light about ones he dislikes. I thought Jason's story on Zach might have been one of the best stories he wrote. And if he would write like that more often, instead of always looking at the negative before the positives, I think people would enjoy reading his articles more.
