Perspective

Hey, gang...things could be a LOT worse for us right now. To my knowledge, the Blazers haven't lost 3-in-a-row all season.

Currently, the Pacers have lost 5 straight (4-6 in last 10), te Nets have lost 3 straight (4-6), and the Pistons have lost 4 straight (5-5)

Certainly, nothing to cheer about.

Even the Mavs (6-4) and Kings (7-3) aren't burning up the nets, compared to the Blazers (6-4).

The teams that seem to be on rolls right now are the Spurs (9-1), Wolves (9-1), Lakers (8-2), Sixers (6 staright), and the Magic (5 straight)...and even they have had their bad moments this season.

It'll all work itself out. The key is gelling at playoff time - regardless of seed.

Very nice, ABM. And thank you. There's a lot of heat from the Lakers and, that said, no one could have predicted that they'd have fallen off as they did. Now they're simply on a steep climb just to get back to where the "should" be. And seeing your list of who else is currently struggling has already lowered my blood pressure.

Thanks again!

Point well taken. Everybody loses some games.

Correction, though--the Blazers did lose three in a row at the beginning of the season during that horrible start, versus three of our biggest foes: Sactown, Lakeshow and *gulp* the Nuggets.

What the hell kind of a name is the "Nuggets" anyway? That's like naming our team the "Trickles" because it rains a lot here.

Another thing- this team has proven they can play sustained excellent ball. There are going to times like this. We'll be fine.
