Rasheed Wallace doesn't flop.

Anybody else notice this? Considering he's considered one of the better defenders in the NBA, I can't remember the last time he fell down without getting SERIOUSLY shoved.

I was thinking this last night when SAR smacked him in the face with the ball and his arm. Wallace grimaced and you could tell he was going to swear a blue streak if he didn't get the call (he did), but he didn't fly backwards swinging his arms like a lot of defenders do.

I can't stand the man's tirades.

I can't stand the way he jacks ill-timed threes.

I can't stand his incredibly lazy rebounding efforts.

But he deserves some props. He just doesn't flop.

True, props to 'Sheed. Sadly, it may also lead to less calls. I think flopping, when done well, does affect officials' calls. Vlade Divac and Reggie Miller being exhibits A and B.

Which it shouldn't. It's a shame that Wallace, playing the way he should, would actually be hurt by doing that.
