Look for trade flurry within the next 48 hours

Teams evaluate their rosters and cuts from other teams to try and fill holes. Expect the Raptors, Blazers, and Knicks to be very active. Not only will there be some signings but we also expect a lot of trade talk is going on. ...

Is Isiah trying to reunite the head-bashing pair of Q-Rich and D-Miles? Isiah put out a feeler to the Blazers to see if a Malik Rose or Mo Taylor would get the deal done. So far the Blazers aren't biting. Isiah has had his sights on Miles since he took the Knicks job, and as we've said in the past, when Isiah wants someone he tends to find a way to get him. ...

hmmmmmmm interesting....
So now pretty much every media outlet and their mom has been talking about a possible New York and Portland deal, I'm starting to think there is some actual validity to it.....
IMO the only way Nash should make a deal is if we get a expiring contract along with either Lee or Frye.....
I've seen the Knicks play a couple preseason games and Lee has impressed me a ton....He is a smart ballplayer who is a hustler and can bang...He also has a sweet lookin jumpshot....I would be more than impressed if we could pick him up for Darius.....

That makes some of Thomas' other moves make a little more sense. Wait, no it doesn't.

Re: Look for trade flurry within the next 48 hours
and when Isaih wants a player, he still takes a blood-bath in the trade (altho the curry trade was probably the only trade you didn't scratch your head and go "wth?").

Yes... look for a trade flurry within the next 48 hours...
...just don't expect it to include the Blazers.
Remember, this is John "My Player Is Worth More Than That" Nash we're talking about here.

I'm not so sure I agree with that. What are you talking about?
He's traded: a draft picks twice, Sheed, Bonzi, McInnis, Rahim (though the deal fell through, he DID have him traded.) Those aren't exactly blockbuster deals where he was holding out for a lot more talent, you know?
Nash has made a lot of deals. Are you saying that because we didn't get Vince Carter?

Nah, I'm just referring to the difficulty he had moving Shareef, who eventually walked to the Kings.

His trend seems to be trading for lesser talent, all the while overvaluing his commodities, and in the process holding out too long and letting deals pass by and get made elsewhere (Magloire, Baron, Vince, Shaq, etc.).

Re: Look for trade flurry within the next 48 hours
I dont think the Knicks will trade any of there rookies, believe me, Isiah is not gonna give up Channing Frye, Nate Robinson, or David Lee, if there is a trade with the Knicks and Blazers it will probably have AD in it cuz we are tryin to get rid of some PF's, but no rookies, if we trade an expiring contract like Penny or AD we will need a PF to replace AD if he is the one traded so probably Ratliff, but IT wants D-Miles so idk what will happen, they might still be talkin, they might not, IDK.We'll find out soon...
