OK, well, one of my working buddies who is a HUGE Pacers fan says that (legitimate) word out of Indy is that Jermaine is VERY unhappy as a Pacer. Wants out. Wants to be "The Man".

That being said, would you be in favor of a trade with Indiana..........with Z-Bo and O'Neal being the primary components?

If so, what would work? Would Freddy Jones in Blazers jersey be enticing?

jermaine would be a better "anchor" (duh), but I doubt that the Pacers would want to trade Jermaine for Zach. however, I'm not sure what they could get for him so I don't know what we would be forced to counter with.

I think the rumor is a little far fetched.

I'd be thrilled to trade Randolph for O'Neal. O'Neal is a more polished scorer, similar rebounder and far, far better defender. And he's only three years older than Randolph.

The Pacers would be insane to trade O'Neal for Randolph.

Well...his wife is from here and Jermaine still has a lot of friends in the area.

He reportedly LOVED the city of Portland when he played here.

We have great fans who still love Jermaine.

When his contract is up, Paul Allen would not hesitate to pay him what he's worth.

He'd get 20+ shots every night.

Hhe wouldn't have to play center.

We have a lot of young talent (more solid young guys than indiana for sure) that will be maturing over the next couple years.

There's a lot of value in being the MAIN GUY who leads a team back to the playoffs.

And even if you don't believe any of that, there's this: it isn't his choice. If he's traded, he has to go where they trade him.
