The Olive forum is less reliable than Peter Vecsey.

Re: Yet another Patterson trade rumor
Hoopshype and the Denver papers are suggesting the team might buy out Ruben's contract. I wonder (I actually haven't read it) if the team can agree to a buy out, IF he agree's to opt out next year.
As in, they'll "buy out" more if he agree's to opt out, and buy out less, if he doesn't.

Re: Yet another Patterson trade rumor
I might very well buy a bannana suit and do the bannana dance on the streets of Portland if this deal went down. Good lord I loves me some Scot Pollard.

Re: Yet another Patterson trade rumor
Interesting idea, has Pollard played this season? He does have some neat suits!

Re: Yet another Patterson trade rumor
He started on national TV against the Cavs the other day.
If Miles went back to his crazy hair of last year, him and Pollard would give us two of the most freakish lookin do's in the league.

Re: Yet another Patterson trade rumor
I'll accept just about any trade of Patterson and/or Dixon, Smith or Blake for a backup PF. I would be quite happy with this one. Would Indiana?

Re: Yet another Patterson trade rumor
I'd go nuts if we could pull this off. Indy may be willing, but they'd probably want to wait until Jeff Foster is ready to play again from his injury, and he just started practicing again on Tuesday (first time in 6 months....). Unless of course they think Jermaine, 2nd year David Harrison, and Austin Croshere are enough for big man depth (since everyone knows Bender is neeeeever healthy).

Re: Yet another Patterson trade rumor
Relax. I don't buy this one. Only place I've seen it mentioned was Olive, and Fork never responded to say where he heard it.
