Hats off to Zach

I gotta give respect when it's due. I'm not just talking about tonight either, I'm talking the other night with 8 assists, the following with 5, then tonight flat out taking it at Sheed and dropping 37, including a Dunk and a three pointier to end the half.

I hope tonight doesn't go to his head and he keeps at the assists too...All of a sudden if a guy is goyin 20-10 and 3 or 4 he starts hedging into 2nd tier PF. I also notice he is working harder on D as well.

Maybe he truely is starting to buy into McMillan ball. If he does, I actually think he has teh physical abilities to be excellent. I'd love to see him in the Pick and Roll more, particularly with his ability to hit the J and his quick release to the rim.

All this from a guy who has been pretty critical of Zach for the last 2 seasons. Honestly though if the last 3 games or so are an indication, I'll be more than happy to get back on Zachs bandwagon.

Re: Hats off to Zach

Agreed......Zach deserves props for how he played tonight.

I hope he can do it relatively consistantly. Not the 37 of course, but the efficiency.

Yes... I have not been the biggest ZBo fan or supporter, but tonight not only did he play well - he played HARD. Really, thats all you can ask from him, and he did his best to get the team a W. That might be the best I have ever seen Zach play. Keep it up!

Incredible game by Z-bo.I have been one to jump off his ship recently but maybe he deserves a contract the contract he has now is a little to much though. If Z-bo can do 20-10 a night every night or most nights then hell be pretty good assest to the team.Kudos to Z-bo hope he can do it consistantley.

Re: Hats off to Zach

Yes Zach played hard tonight... I give him that...but I was honestly way more impressed by his 8 assists the other night. If anything says that he is tryng to fit in with Nate's gameplan....anything at all, it would be his 8 assists. Do I expect him to get 8 assists every night? Hell no. That would be virtually impossible for a guy of his position and talent. Howver, it definately showed that he is trying to play the right way. Another interesting tidbit......
When he had that 8 assist game, wasn't that the same game that Dixon shot really well in?
And tonight, he didn't have the assists, but he was the one shooting really well.
This is subtle but very important...... it appears that they are really trying to capitolize as a team on whoever has the hot hand. And why not? We don't have one very very dominant player/scorer, so it really should be that way. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues....
