4. HA - Has talent, people just don't believe in him except me and a few other people.

5. Webster - Wasn't worth the #6 pick overall, at best a bench player.

6. Telfair - Can't play defense but has handles, reminds me of a street ball player.

7. Jack - Might be a starter down the road but still has a ways to go.
I agree with everything you said.

Outlaw is lost out there, it's been said many times he can't remember the plays, so maybe that's why.

Victor was looking good for a while but has been scaring me to watch lately, I am impressed at how many things he can do out there, pretty good passer, pretty good defender, etc (didn't Nate say he can play all 5 positions or was he talking about someone else?) but he doesn't seem to shine.

Ha will be good but in a long *** time, he's still too young and inexperienced but I think he'll get there eventually...just not any time soon.

Webster doesn't really seem to do much out there and doesn't shoot very well for a star shooting guard imo, perhaps it's just nerves and he'll feel more comfortable when time goes on?

Telfair reminds me of a street ball player too, which is the exact opposite of what Nate wants, so I think there are going to be some problems with him playing here. He's either going to have to change which might mess up his game or Nate's going to have to change his whole system which I don't think is a very good idea to do for one player who may or may not be "the future" I think he'll be a great player some day, but it will be a while until he calms down his spastic turnovers and it may be on a different team than ours.

Jack has impressed me more than the rest, he plays solid defense and hustles out there, he can't run the offense to save his life though and has many stupid turnovers which make perfect sense considering he's still young and a rookie, he'll get better with time too but I hope he doesn't start any time soon.

30 games - that's it, huh? The point at which you can recognize whether or not a young player will be a star in the NBA or not is 30 games?

We respectfully disagree.

Re: So, in this youth movement...which "young guy" has emerged?

i really find it funny how you guys are trying to say what our young players are like. I meen really, read of of the many lists and it seems like something that would be discussed about in a middle school cafeteria by a bunch of know it alls that watch a game and think thats it. out of all those players only outlaw is in his 3rd season. Ha is a 2nd round pick, and when do those ever pan out? Especialy at center HES 20 YEARS OLD! PLAYING CENTER!!. Viktor is a workhorse and plays within his game, sure he could go out there and take a larger amount of shots but thats not his game right now. Monia has played at times and played well, then he played poorly, hes a rookie adjusting to a new country, give him a break. Webster is a 19 year old rookie, if you look at a 4 game streak that he had 12/26-01/01 he was averaging 14 mins 6 pnts 2.3 rebs 1 ast. lets say websters name was dixon who averaged 37 minutes a game. 16 points 6 rebs 2.7 asts and 1 steal.
So webster would be one of the better rookies if he got constant playing time. Guess what telfair is a streetballer and is also considered one of the up and coming pointgaurds in the league, just search for his name, sure hes short but hes also 20 years old! Jack is a rookie, show me 5 rookies chosen after him that you would like or even 2 pointgaurds chosen after him that have done anything. All of these players are young and very raw. the only thing i can really say about any of them is that none of them are getting consistant playing time except for Viktor, and Telfair when he is healthy.
