Steve Francis played with Steve Blake and Juan Dixon at Maryland. Isn't he on the trading block? Don't know if he has the attitide that management is looking for and I think he has a big contract but I'd trade Telfair for Francis. Throw in a SF maybe.

I really hope you're joking because Steve Francis pretty much goes against everything the Blazers are trying to do for their future. He has a horrible, horrible attitude/ego problem. I hope I never see him play for a Northwest division team, let alone the Blazers.

I'd like to hang onto all the players we have except for ruben,and theo to ny while they still want them.I would like to draft a person who can back up z-bo at pf and sign joel to a 2-3 year contract or at least a one year contract to get his bird rights.This year i think we should go after morrison,or gay or baragani.Greg oden is who i want though.I think that a trade will not happen not even a chance of one, unless we get one that is purely lopsided in our favor.

I'm with Wanker on this one. Three point guards is the right number for a team. There's no need to trade one of them. Nobody was complaining that we signed Blake cause everyone knows that you need to have an insurance policy. Now he's had a few good games and there's a need to trade our insurance policy?

Besides, what would we get in return for Telfair that would make it worth trading him? Anyone think we could trade him to the Celtics for Al Jefferson?

Actually if I'm not mistaken he was teammates with Juan Dixon for one year and never played alongside Steve Blake in real games (Francis was in the NBA by Fall 1999 when Blake entered MD as a freshman). But they do know each other, but I am not sure Francis would be a good fit on the Blazers.

What's wrong with keeping all three (Blake, Jack, Telfair -- in alphabetical order please note) and then seeing what might transpire over the summer? The second year of Blake's contract, if I am not mistaken, is NOT guaranteed (although he's certainly made a case for a second year with his play of late).
