Now, I like A. Daniels. However, just look at how he is struggling this season. Seriously, take a look at all the Sonics who left. All of them are struggling and looking really bad this season. Hmmmm, interesting that they would all play better and more efficiently under McMillan than they would elsewhere. Also interesting, look at the current Sonics team. They honestly didn't lose too much, J. James, and AD....and their record has dropped tremendously. Could that have anything to do with the coaching?

So far here in Portland, I haven't been impressed with McMillan. Doesn't John Nash know the Blazers are rivals with the Sonics, why did he sign McMillan!? He should have signed Porter.

How is he a better coach?

Interesting to note how uninformed Pistons fans are. Saying they are not impressed by what McMillan has done but ARE impressed by what Porter has done? Yikes. Good thing we Blazer fans have a much higher basketball IQ.

I am probably biased because Terry Porter was one of my favorite players when he was a Blazer. Nash should have hired Porter not McMillan. Porter could have brought back the old days.

How - does he have a time travelling phone booth that could bring a youthful Clyde Drexler and a pre-injury Jerome Kersey to 2006? If so, then you're right, we should have hired Porter.

He could have created a buzz in the city. Everybody would be talking about Porter as coach, it would be a huge PR move. I also think Porter can become a great NBA coach because he was a leader on the floor when he was a Blazer.

I don't think so. Many local Portlanders never knew who Nate McMillan was. Terry Porter on the other hand, many people know here in the area.

Re: Schrempf "disses" Portland
Schrempf has no reason to "diss" the Blazers org. Fact is, he didn't play very well here. He looked old and was injury riddled. Everytime I think of him (as a Blazer) I see him with that freeking white towel around his neck! He just wasn't the same player he was in Seattle. Frankly, I remember cursing at him often. He was such a dissapointment.

Terry Porter is a better coach than McMillan.

You are probably the only person in the world who thinks that.

Wow, even though I'm sad Terry Porter isn't our coach I'm happy about McMillan. I hope Terry gets the Sonics job, I feel sad for him.

?
hm..
Seems to me someone is saying one thing, that is the opposite of what they said earlier, because they know it'll irk fans.

I'll admit that sometimes I overreact to situations. It's like a new car or something, after a while you want a new one. I'm just trying to let everyone know the McMillan is not the great coach he is made out to be.

Re: Schrempf "disses" Portland
I know you're not supposed to call people out, but man am I sad that you didn't follow through on your promise.
You post here twice as much as when you were a Blazer fan.
Who are you kidding really?
This is the last I'm going to say about it, I promise.

I guess I never realized it but I guess I miss the Blazers. It's like getting a divorce and realizing you might have made a mistake. I'm not quite at that point yet because I still think the franchise needs to make changes in order to compete in the future.
