Me too. How many times have we heard "It's not about the money" from a guy before the fact and then . . . it ends up being all about the money. It's easy for us to criticize that. In our eyes, what's the difference between 35 and, say, 42 million?? The obvious conclusion is that you would be more than secure with 35 million. But, leaving 7 million on the table is hard to do. It's something we rarely see in ANY profession.

Exactly what I was thinking. Stay healthy, prolong your careers. Make oodles of money and work half as much. What's to ***** about?

I love our two centers and what they bring to the game. It's like our starting center never leaves the court.

PryZ is great and I really hope he stays here but the truth is he's not a player you build a contender around, he's a good backup / below average starter who should be paid accordinly. If he gets offers much higher then 37mil I hope the Blazers wouldn't pay him that much. At least we don't have to worry about "bend over and take it" Nash giving away too much money because they CAN'T in this situation.
