With a Win Sunday Night......

Amazingly enough the Blazers would move up and no longer be in last place in the Northwestern Division, and amazingly enough only 6 games back of 1st place in the division. Portland has already moved past Houston, and is no longer the worst team in the conference. I believe even if they do not win tomorrow night, that they will still pass Seattle in the standings, which is pretty amazing really if you think about it. Both Seattle and Houston have 2 "all star" caliber players on their team, and a lot more experience. Even with McGrady inured a lot it is still unbelievable to me. It really makes me wonder where the Blazers would be right now if:

1. Darius was healthy.
2. The fans actually filled the Rose Garden and actually gave the team some much needed support. Would their home record be better then .500? Probably.

Also to think this team is only 1 game behind where last seasons team was at this point, and that team had a lot more experience.

I think its quite a possibility we aren't waiting for the turnaround. We could be watching it happen right in front of our eyes.

I was looking at that yesterday. It is suprising that we are still so close to the division leader.
It would be quite a testament to Nate if the Blazers pass Seattle.

FWIW: They also noted that Miles & Blake played a "soft" 1-on-1 at the end of practice yesterday.

Miles return may not be that far off.
