Yeah, he doesn't mess around.
Good to see Webster rebounding the ball. Good sign of being active..or getting lucky. One of the two.

I think that the minutes don't add up as quickly as the fouls on this tracker.
They only have 60 minutes added in total, and they've already played nearly the first half. He's probably played 8 minutes so far tonight. Still....those are Ha like foul numbers.
*edit* now they have the minutes added in. 4 fouls in 9 minutes. That's the Russian in him. No easy baskets. If you've got 6 fouls, you might as well use them.
Ft. Worth is killing 'em tonight. 59-30 lead at the half? Damn...

Re: Wow, Monia....
This may get the award for stupidest question of the day . . . do all of the Fort Worth guys belong to the Blazers? I wouldn't think so. Langford? Luke S. from G-tech? How would they have obtained those guys?

No they don't belong to us. They actually play in the NBDL hoping for a team to pick them up. It's just that the teams are partly made up of NBA players. Not enough teams use it yet to have all NBA players in it.

No, they're not all ours. Most aren't under contract with any NBA team. Rawle Marshall belongs to Dallas. Aaron Miles was under contract with Golden State, but I guess they dropped him. I think that's it, aside from our two guys.

That's what I thought. I guess that's the only way they can do it now since the system hasn't been in place long enough for every team to have enough guys to fill a minor league roster. I don't like it the way it is. The nice thing about having your OWN minor league team is that you could control a guys PT, or call the coaching staff and tell them what you want. I was wondering what the heck Pritchard was talking about yesterday when he said that the coach (I think he said Sam Mitchell??) runs a complicated offense and he isn't concerned so much with Martell's or Monia's ##'s. You would think the last thing the Blazers would want is for these guys to have to learn an offense that they (Blazers) don't even run. I guess they don't have much control at this point though.

I agree. It's kind of goofy. Within the next couple years, they'll be almost doubling the size of the league, so each D-League team will only be split between 2 NBA clubs. That's better, but still...it'll be best when they each have their own team.

Re: Wow, Monia....
The Fort Worth radio announcers can't stop talking about Martell's sweet jumper, it's kind of funny. Fort Worth is beating up the top team in the NBDL up by 29 points with 7:37 left.

The Blazer boys are going off tonight.
19 pts on 9-13 shooting and 8 rebounds.
*edit* Make that 23 pts on 11-15 shooting.
*edit* 28 pts on 12-18 shooting.

Am I missing something...Webby only has 4 boards. Good to see he is 5-6 from the field though.

I was combining both Webster and Monia's numbers.
16 and 4 for Webster.
12 and 4 for Monia.
Or, maybe you meant why did I say Webster was rebounding well tonight. When I posted the original comment, he had 3 rebounds in 2 minutes or something. He's slowed down since then, obviously.

Re: Wow, Monia....
interesting..the guy apparently couldn't score against NBDL scrubs the last game, and is now kicking their asses.
maybe he's not that bad.
