OT: Where to get real time info about Artest situation
Other than the wonderful information provided on the bbb.net site, where else might one go to get real-time information about the Artest/Peja trade situation?
I know hoopsworld.com, and espn.com, realgm.com, hoopshype.com are pretty reliable. Any others for this situation?
I want to know if Artest came in and met this morning with Walsh/Bird and whether its done or not.
Inquiring minds are dying to know.

You could try calling Ron Artest himself.
I think his number is: 1-800-IAM-NUTS

Since I have a better chance of becoming a Blazer than Artest ever will, who cares?

I care. Basketball is my passion. Trail Blazers are my team. This trade situation fits into point #1.

Well, obviously this isn't the ONLY trade that might go down before the deadline. There's been a ton of speculation that once Artest is dealt, the floodgates of trade activity will open up. Maybe once he's traded, it leads to a deal the Blazers ARE involved in. Is that impossible?
Speaking of who cares...why would you care if he's interested in what happens with Artest? Does it do anything to stop your enjoyment of whatever it is you enjoy? I doubt it.

According to ESPN News....Artest agrees to play for the Kings. The Maloofs still want to talk to him before they agree to reconfirm the trade.

Supposedly it's a done-deal... again. Both teams have agreed to the deal and it's now awaiting league approval.

Plus, I like Tony Mejia's style of writing.
