Pittsburgh has a great defense, but it will be hard for them to stop Shaun behind the left side of the line.

Hasselbeck should be able to put up a TD or two through the air, attacking the middle with Stevens and Joey J.

Hawks get up early, then run SA and ball control in the second half.

Says he is still expecting to play, but he is one of the few players in the Steelers' defensive backfield who could make life difficult for the Seahawks' receivers (TE's and RB's included). If I'm Holmgren, I attack the Steelers' defensive backfield early and often to test the waters there. Could be a chink in the armor that can be exploited, but the tactic can also open up the middle for Alexander to do his thing.

DETROIT - Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher tried to allay concerns this morning about the health of starting strong safety Troy Polamalu, who missed some of practice Thursday with a sore ankle.

Cowher said an MRI Thursday night did not show any damage and that "he'll be fine by Sunday."

Polamalu eliminated any doubt about his status for the Super Bowl by taking part in the team's practice this afternoon and running and cutting "without any noticeable limp" according to the official pool report released by the NFL.



Sounds like he just tweak it, I would think that it would take a lot more than a tweaked ankle to stop this guy from causing havok for Seattle.
