OT: You just cant make this stuff up!
This is the story of the Autistic team manager of a New York high school team. He was allowed to suit up for the last game of the year. Turns out he got some pt at the end of the game. Then scores 20 points in 3 minutes, sinking 6 straight 3's...

The video is awesome!

Re: OT: You just cant make this stuff up!
I'm excited for that kid, and for everyone who knows him and was there to experience that. It's something that will stick with them for the rest of their lives (whether or not they make a movie about it), in a very positive way. Truly inspirational.
I've never said this to ANYONE before, but my youngest son has ADHD and has a lot of challenges ahead of him in life. I can't imagine the challenges this Autistic kid has ahead of him, but I'm thrilled he got to experience the magic of a moment like that. Gives me hope, too.
Wow.

The best part of the whole video is how crazy the crowd gets with each and every 3...

Re: OT: You just cant make this stuff up!
I just saw this on SC yesterday. UN-BE-LEV-A-BUL! A 5'6" autistic ball boy scores 20 points, ties a school record with 6 threes in 4 minutes??? This isn't a feel good story, this is a freeking miracle. This makes Rudy look like a dud. I heard on the radio that movie deals are already being talked about. Did anybody see the footage? Some of the 3's were from about 25-30 ft!! They showed him enter the game, and he air balled his 1st shot. (I'm thinking - please - just let him make one) Then he just starts raining them from everywhere. Truth be told though, he didn't make 6 in a row. He as 7-13 on FG - 6 of them 3's. Still, one of the coolest things I've ever seen in Sports - ever.
