Re: I couldn't watch the second half
Like most games this season I fell asleep in the 3rd qtr. But I am on the east coast so stayign up until 2300 when I have to get up at 0600 doesn't work so well. even my non basketball fan wife commented on how poor we were doing when we were down by 22.

I was around also, and it was a different bad. They were bad then, they are "inexperienced" now

I think the team overall was worse last year with the Damon/NVE/Ruben/Theo/SAR lineups. This year's team will play hard for three quarters and change, then loses due to an inability to close out games. Seeing Damon and NVE jack up 25 footers all night was simply unwatchable!
Last year, the team would get down early, fight back to within 10, and die.
The difference is hope for the future:
Damon/NVE/Ruben/Theo/SAR are known commodities. Unfortunately, what you know about them if they do not give you a chance to win. Failure is a certainty with this lineup.
Jack/Webster/Khryapa/Outlaw/Bassy are still developing and can show something new each and every night out. When you see the potential for greatness, it keeps you interested and coming back.
The youngsters have talent, they just need time to mature and develop.

Re: I couldn't watch the second half
My favorite moment of the game was when some guy behind me yelled at Khryapa "Quit not making shots." Made me laugh. He was later booted out for being too drunk and I left in the middle of the 4th quarter, something I never, EVER do.

I was sitting 8 rows behind Mark Cuban and the Mavericks bench in section 103 I had a great time heckling him. Nothing mean spirited..all in good fun.
Shook his hand on our way out and thanked him for taking our heckles so well. Cuban is seriously a cool guy.

Yeah, definitely a cool guy...One of the most genuine people I've ever came across, even with all his fortune he still acts like a normal dude...unlike another owner I know of....
