I think you've missed something here.
Paul Allen has worn out his welcome here; the Blazers, however, should stay so that the new ownership can maybe bring back Rip City once again.
Besides, there are many more markets that might get a team before Portland ever does.

Q: Would the league authorize any special actions, such as additional draft picks or anything along those lines?
A: No don’t need that.
Q: The team doesn't need that?
A: That's correct. Nor does the league.

Now THAT was a stupid question.

A: I am not confident at this point. That’s what energizes me to try to become more confident.

Wow.... I thought I read somewhere that according to Stern, moving the team would be a last resort move. If Stern has changed his opinion on this, that is NOT a good sign. If the team leaves, hopefully we get a new team soon I never thought I would see the day that my Blazers relocated.

Go get 'em Davey.

I agree. In order for the Trail Blazers to get their finances in order, the first step is getting back control of the Rose Garden.

depends on how you read it. If you read it as him saying "if things stand as they are, no one will want to play in Portland, because the lease is so bad" and him saying it was a viled thread to the RG owners, than I'm not too worried.
As much as the owners of the RG want to think they hold the trump card, no Trail Blazers = no RG.

Stop wasting our time then. If you admit you want the team gone then posts like this will be considered baiting/trolling in the future.
