OT:Seahawks
I posted in the seahawks forum but i wanted to post here because it gets more hits.
Who in fa should we go after.
I think we should go after Julian peterson, john abraham, keyshawn johnson, joey harrington.
Move senaca to wr and do some reciever passes like the steelers do.

Re: OT:Seahawks
The Seahawks need to get a better pass rush. Winstrom is nearing the end and they need to sign a DE or draft one. They also lost Joe, they need another WR, Seneca Wallkace is their back-up QB, bad move moving him to WR where we don't know if he can play there or not.

u must be kidding he caught a 40 yard pass when they lined him up at wideout one time.He has great hands a good arm good speed all the makings on a wideout with a arm so we could do some steelers type plays wide reciever reverses and passes. If what espn was saying is correct i think we will be better then last year.If we do sign julian peterson,Keyshawn johnson, john abraham and draft mathias kiwanuka or darnell bing as the espn mock draft is indicating.

Re: OT:Seahawks
If Wallace moved to WR, who would be their QB if Hasselbeck went down?

Re: OT:Seahawks
university of oregons quarterbacks hardly ever show anything in the pros, this is the third time a team got bit in the rear by U of O qb's. It seems like they are a product of mike belottis system. Harrington, Smith being such high picks, and A.J. Feeley having the dolphins give up a 2nd rounder for him.

Re: OT:Seahawks
Signing Joey Harrington as a backup might be a good thing---Matt would know that he can't afford to get injured.
I wouldn't mind using Seneca in more trick plays, but not as a regular WR. they resigned Warrick, are looking at Burleson, and will probably draft one. Losing JJ really hurts though---I compare him to AD last year for the Supes---a key role player who had championship experience that was a leader. there was nothing they could do though--Seattle isn't Cleveland & he wants to retire w/ the home team.
I agree they need a DE. Defense period. the LB's are looking good, but they need some depth at DB...those won't be too hard to come by though.

Re: OT:Seahawks
Harrington and Hasselbeck are very similar quarterbacks. Both will nickel & dime you to death with the short game, but can go deep on occasion. Neither are incredibly mobile (I think Harrington is the more mobile of the two). So give them good hands to catch the ball and a solid offensive line, and you're set. And the best part is that your schemes don't have to change much (if at all) when Hasselbeck goes down and Harrington comes in. That right there makes a LOT of difference for cohesiveness of the offensive unit. If I was Holmgren, I'd waste no time picking Harrington up. I seriously can't see any negatives to it.
Oregon QB's? May I introduce you to Mr. Dan Fouts? I'll concede the point if you're just talking about recent Oregon QB's. But I still say Harrington's struggles in Detroit are the direct result of him standing behind the worst offensive line in the NFL.

Re: OT:Seahawks
I agree Dan Fouts was great, but I do not believe he was coached by Mike Belotti
Product of the system, Akili Smith was one of my favorite players, as well as Harrington, but they just dont produce in the NFL. Thats nothign bad though, look at Steve Spurrier when he was in Florida, Wuerrfel was one of the best and he sucked in the pros.

Re: OT:Seahawks
Feeley was 5th round pick, I don't think you can say he's a bust....meanwhile I'm looking around and I can't find one NFL quarterback from OSU... and no, Derek Anderson doesn't count..

Re: OT:Seahawks
lol I never said OSU is a great team, there athletics suck my friend. Truth be told ive been a ducks fan since I was like 4. I go to OSU, but I root for the Ducks, shoot me
And Feeley may have been a 5th round pick, but wasnt tom brady a 6th round pick? And I didnt mean he was a bust in that he was drafted in the 5th round, I meant the dolphins gave up a frickin 2nd round pick for the dude, and he sucks

Re: OT:Seahawks
Isn't there an off topic forum for these threads to go into. I hope a different sport, in a differnt state isn't getting to run in the BLAZER forum simply because one of the mods is a fan.
That being said......GO RAIDERS
