No, everyone liked him because of how he shot free throws. That man is a legend.

What are you talking about? Dudley was actually a worse FT shooter than Shaq.

Sorry, I didn't know you were being sarcastic. It's been a long day. I'm slow.

Re: OT: Duds News
Hahah.. the Dudley 4 Step Free Throw Routine. It was a classic form!
1. Dribble
2. Bend knees holding ball to the right with the elbows waaaaaay out
3. Stand straight up
4. Shoot and miss badly

Re: OT: Duds News
People liked Duds because
1. He was not a great talent but he worked his butt off every game; whatever he had he gave day in and day out
2. He did not try to be what he was not, a scorer, but concentrated on doing what he did best, defense, rebounding, shot blocking; a role player who accepted his role
3. He was a great team guy, always ready to support his teammates
4. He was incredibly fan friendly
5. He was great in the community
6. He looked good in a swimsuit

Re: OT: Duds News
A family member of mine works for a company that handles workmens comp claims, and the Trail Blazers are one of their clients. Dudley has a HUGE claim against the team, he wants lots of $$$ for his injury's that occured while playing for the team. He should be the one paying the team, for making us fans watch him play, especially for making us watch him shoot free throws.

it's not enough they signed him to a contract wth an opt out after 1 year..and he got injured what, 6 games into that season, and he opted out and the team STILL signed him to a huge contract that turned out to be more than he was worth?

Now I don't have a coat of silk, but I still have the sky
Now I don't have a lady, but there goes a butterfly
Now I don't have a house of stone, but I can see the sea
Now most of all I know that I am happy to be me.
I'm happy to be me.
I'd like to say I made this, but I didn't

Official scorekeepers loved Dudley, he had a lot of easy lines to write:

Re: OT: Duds News
Dudley really wasn't that bad of a player.
He was no Arvydas, but he held his own on the boards.
