Re: Are the Blazers playing up to your expectations?
as far as how many losses, yes. But with the level of play no. I expected them to play hard every night and give it their all. Most nights, guys just call it in and expect to lose. I think their is enough talent on this team to at least compete for a 8th seed, but our highest paid players besides zach don't care. I'm talking theo and miles. those 2 have been the bggest disappointment for me. theo the most. I know I'll catch crap for being a broken record, but he does absolutely nothing. I wish we could just get rid of him for anything we can get.

Re: Are the Blazers playing up to your expectations?
I predicted 35 wins on my optomism only. I did not count on so many injuries however. I now hope thay can reach 25.

It was actually terse. Not sure if you were being ironic with your incorrect vocabulary usage or not.

I think any roster that fields Darius Miles will never play up to anyone's expectations. I'm sorry but I really do believe that.

That's odd. I thought it indicated that you were disgruntled.

Re: Are the Blazers playing up to your expectations?
After going to a few pre-season games, I predicted no more than 12 wins all year.
So, yeah, this is a good start.

Re: Are the Blazers playing up to your expectations?
I also predicted between 20-25 wins. They are on pace for that "accomplishment". I expected a little more competitive fire - that we've rarely seen.
My expectations were that this was a throw-away year. See who we wanted to keep and draft another body. We're doing all these things.
Ping Pong balls here we come - hope we get the #1 to make it all worth while.

That's awesome.
Verbose actually means 'long winded.'
So, Ed O's one word post is pretty much the antithesis of verbose.
Nice try though.
And I predicted 27 wins. The TEAM is living up to expectations. Some individuals are not. Telfair for one. Webster to a slightly lesser extent.

Re: Are the Blazers playing up to your expectations?
I expected the team to win 30 games this year.
Might still happen.
I was mostly worried that Pryzbilla would end up being a bust this year, showing that last year was a fluke. I don't know that I'd say he's been a total bust, but he certainly hasn't been a player worth dumping tons of salary (just to resign him )
My biggest complaint is that this team just doesn't give a consistent effort. I really think that they need an accomplished veteran that can get the time fired up in a big way. I think a player like Pippen would be perfect for this team. (I know that players like Pippen aren't very common, but never the less...)

Re: Are the Blazers playing up to your expectations?
i hope we dont give joel more than mle
i said 30 -35 wins but that was without the injuries the injury to miles did us in then our wonder twin centers, wonder when they will get injuried, they arent going to lead us to the promise land. If we sign joel for more than mle then we are stupid and I dont think we will.
COme on Ping Pong balls!
