Re: Portland/Cleveland Game Thread
Telfair sure is finishing a lot better for a few games now.

Re: Portland/Cleveland Game Thread
Lovin' what I'm seeing from Telfair.
****ing Skinner isn't trying at all. If a Cav goes down low, then he just fouls them. Has happened to Varejao about 2-3 times now. ****ING MORON.

Re: Portland/Cleveland Game Thread
telfair is on fire. I think there might be a debate on who should be getting a majority of the minutes. I think it's blake and telfair, not blake and jack.

It should have always been that way.
What I'm thinking ahead to is next year if we have Morrison instead of Miles/Outlaw,we can really have a Phoenix type offense, that Rice and Barrett were talking about because Telfair has flourished this game with his new freedom.

Re: Portland/Cleveland Game Thread
Positives of the game were:
1) Telfair - Great all around game, and he should have had at least a few more assists if Victor could hit layins and if Miles could make a dunk. Asking a lot of them, I know.
2) Voshon didn't play a single minute.
3) We got over 70 points.
Negatives: Everything else. I'm surprised Miles didn't bob his dumb ****ing head after that sweet airball. God I'm so sick of him.

Re: Portland/Cleveland Game Thread
I would like to formally submit we name this season "The Year of the Chalupa" as we are now welcome around the league by hungry fans everywhere.
Anyway, one player that strikes me everytime I see him play is Travis Outlaw. He sure is a talented defensive player. I know he was burned a couple of times late but he was guarding a point guard out top and then he was guarding a power forward down low but next tiime he is guarding someone watch how he tries to keep the guy in front of him so he can then use his exceptional vertical leap to challenge the jump shot. I would love to see a statistic on how well players shoot aginst him when facing up for a jump shot. I haven't seen one player connect consistently against Travis while facing up for a jump shot and that includes Kobe Bryant. Granted he couldn't stop Kobe from driving the key if his life depended on it but nevertheless Travis really should play more minutes.
Now Darius Miles. What a stupid signing that was. The guy is doing nothing but taking away minutes from Travis and Webster and Khryapa (granted he was crapa tonight).
Anyway, pencil me in as wanting Travis and Morrison as my SF's next year.

Re: Portland/Cleveland Game Thread
The great thing is we all have to look forward to the return of Juan Dixon. He's way more fun to watch than Telfair anyway. Telfair and Webster can go back to riding the bench where they can continue to develop.

Re: Portland/Cleveland Game Thread
heh at 70 points+ being a positive
couple of good performances but yet another loss - kinda hard to keep finding silver linings in a sky thats black...
season is a wash for me - i just hope we get a decent pick and draft someone ready to contribute.
they should tighten the rotation to 8-9 as if its playoffs imo , just give the chosen ones major minutes.
we have absolutely nothing left to lose imo - might was well do the trial by fire on the young guys and see what it turns up.

That sounds like a complaint looking for a problem.

Re: Portland/Cleveland Game Thread
Telfair was a G tonite, great watching him play...
Darius needs to stop with the head bop thing, its played...
Martell was garbage tonite...
I think we could have won with better lineups...
Oh well, seeing Telfair tonite was well worth the loss.

I'm going to go with pathetic. Not quite Cheeks pathetic, but reminiscent.
Telfair really showed tonight why he's the best point guard on our team. Or he would be if given the opportunity to blossom.
Bassy looked like the Telfair of late last season (finally),

And he still can't get a foul call when he gets hammered at the rim. He did get one late in the game, but that's clearly the exception. Another benefit of letting him play more and play to his strengths is that the Refs will learn his game and maybe start calling some of those.
