And I agree, both guards would have better assist numbers if they played with better players.
I can think of 2 plays, the blown laup by kryapa on the bounce pass by telfair and the blown dunk by miles. I just don't get how guys who get paid to play can't play. I mean a layup is a gimme.

Re: Portland/Cleveland Game Thread

Lack of coordination between players killing the team. Mcmillan gotta find a solution. And Miles shoould have been traded along with Theo for sthg cos if this guy thinks he plays basketball than what the hell entire players on the floor are playing? What about vanilla? Everybody loved him playing though D near the basket, but since his return he has not showed anything about D. Hope Nash will find interior players with D abilities and wont throw big money to vanilla.

yah, thast it. Im such a blinded telfair homer, that I'd obviously think that..

dur dur..

anycoach who doesn't play to his players strengths, when it *benefits* the team, isn't good.

It's not like telfairs strengths bog the team down.

I can't help but just roll my eyes since so many people were so freaking eager to bash Damon when he was here for shooting the ball and now everyone wants Telfair to start scoring more and more.
well, see...damon was in whats called his "10th year" in the league..and STILL wasn't a good shooter.

thats at least 1 single reason why. He also wasn't that good at creating offense for the other players, thats another reason.

I'd be interested to know how many people would like to have Stephon Marbury as their primary PG....
not sure why you brought up Marbury, since Telfairs nothing like Marbury. Unless you just want to argue lazy.

I disagree that it's only one guys style. As a matter of fact I would say the majority of the team is better suited to a faster paced game. Good coaches should adapt their system to the players.
