Re: Ouch: JJ Redick just fell out of the first round
I never believed he was a legit tip 10 pick. Though, thier is no way he falls out of the 1st round. Thin of how good JJ could be if he was on a team like Phoenix, Dallas, Cleveland or Indiana. That is scary, as he will almost NEVER get double teamed. A top 10 pick, no way!

kind of hard to pick him when they don't have a pick in the draft this year, as things currently stand.

We have Miami's pick.
But I don't want JJ on my team.

Put J.J. on a team with a good big man and a slasher and he will score like mad. Pick and rolls, dish-outs from penetration. Give the guy a semi-open look and he'll knock it down.

Is that any different from, for example, Trajan Langdon? The Cavs took him 11th overall in 1999, he shot just about 40% from 3 point range in his career... but was out of the NBA in three years.
I'm not sure that Reddick shooting, say, 41% from 3 point range would change the end result at all.

Well I hope some other team drafts him with a real high pick!

Good point...but Trajan wasn't quite the dead eye shooter Redick is IMO. Trajan also was not the ACC all-time scoring leader either. You point is valid and certainly a possibility with Redick. As I am sure you know rarely is anyone a sure thing.

Re: Ouch: JJ Redick just fell out of the first round
It's probably a good thing for Redick if he falls to the mid-late first round. He can go to a better team and be a complimentary player, instead of having all the expectations that go with being a top 10 pick (which I don't think he could live up to). He'll be alright if he lands somewhere like Houston, L.A, Phoenix, Miami, Cleveland, or San Antonio.
