Obviously I changed my mind. I am allowed to do that, aren't I? I don't want to break any forum rules or anything...
|
I guess changing your mind depends on what your trying to defend then...b\c saying Telfair is too small as a PG on one hand and then pronouncing Davis as plenty big enough for PF on the other is talking out both sides of your mouth....6'8 is short for PF, and it doesn't matter how wide he is....
Why do you feel the need to stick up for your little budddy in this thread? I didn't realize that was part of this discussion...

you know when you have a little bit of water shoot out of your mouth? thats a gleek.
sometimes you can do it yourself (I notice that when you get braces, it seems to become easier) by just like saying a hard T, and putting your tongue up by your two front teeth (where they meet the gums).
aaah yes, the gleek. 8th grade boys answer to everything.
But back to Glenn Davis...he's good enough for a mid 20's pick.

But most of all I wish that I was someone else but me.
Now I don't have a coat of silk, but I still have the sky
Now I don't have a lady, but there goes a butterfly
Now I don't have a house of stone, but I can see the sea
Now most of all I know that I am happy to be me.
I'm happy to be me.
I'd like to say I made this, but I didn't

I am very impressed with Glen "Big Baby" Davis. I think you guys are missing the boat on this one. Ever heard of Kevin Duckworth?

Duck is 7'0.
Big Baby is NO TALLER than 6'8.
Big difference.

so we should get another overweight emotionally fragile soft centre who was drafted in the 2nd round?
good point!
Oh wait, Duckworth was a 7 footer and Davis is, at most, 6'8"....

BALONEY! You remember Charles Barkley don't you? I suppose it didn't matter how wide he was either...

Re: We should draft Glen Davis.
I remember Sir Charles - and he was somewhat "one-of-a-kind".
I hope you are right about Glen being that kind of player. I haven't followed him enough to offer judgement/opinion.
If he has displayed the kind of heart and can-do attitude on the court - like Barkley - then we should take a serious look at him.

Re: We should draft Glen Davis.
Glen Davis isn't ANYTHING like Charles Barkley...
That is more of a stretch than comparing Adam Morrisson to Larry Bird...
They both are ludicrous...
Get back on your rocker tlong...
