It's not Miles alone. Who hangs with Miles?? Who is being infected by Miles??

Zbo to a extent of course...yet ZBo seems to bring the effort about 80% of the time I would say. Unfort. I hear Telfair and Miles are buddies. Your question makes me curious though...I'll have to make some calls and ask around.

No, I don't think you get my point. The young guys should be playing more, it will only help us in the long run. But last year, when we were 5 or 6 games out of the playoffs with like 25 games to play or around there, they pulled the plug, fired Cheeks (I agree with that, but should have waited till the end of the year), and basically gave up on the season and we began the youth movement. We should have waited longer until we were mathematically out or close to it.
But not mention that it was fun to watch up tempo basketball towards the end of last year, the team was 5-22 under Kevin, but it just was a start to the team having a couple bad years to have betters years in the future.
But the idea behind that, is that is doesn't always work, actually rarely works, except a few teams, and PHX the year the got Nash, Q, and so on. But what happens most of the time, is teams just get bad and stay bad for years, teams like GS, LAC (expect this year), ALT, TOR, etc come to mind. I think while maybe we should have gonna a little younger, we should have stayed competitive and try to surround the team with a little more veteran help, and had a goal of playoffs, instead of the 2nd youngest team in the league. I just don't want the Blazers to be like the Hawks and GS and other teams, were we get a losing environment and were free agents don't want to be here. But that's already happening. The time we went to the WCF's twice, free agents always wanted to come here.
I know a lot of what we did was cap saving as well, so maybe that has to do with Paul Allen. and can't fully blame Nash and Co. But this is the route they decided to take, and I will back them 100% no matter how bad the suck. I'm more patient with the young guys and know they need play time and need to make mistakes and learn, it's the only way. But they need to earn the playing time, and that's what Nate is doing now with some of them. I didn't even want the youth movement, but I'm more patient with the young guys a lot more then some people on this board saying to trade some of the young guys already. These guys are so young, that we may have to wait 3 more years before we can start thinking about becoming a good team again.

I think Joel is doing what Nate is doing. Basically saying "look, get rid of the moron or I'm leaving".

FYI - I sent this question to Jason Quick via OLive for the chat tomorrow:
Jason - How many points did Juan Dixon score against the Clippers on Sunday night?
I don't expect it to be addressed or answered....

If that's what you're saying, then I think you need to go back and read the article again.
If that's not what you're saying, then I have no idea at all what you are saying.

Nothing of the sort, but you're right, I wasn't clear.
By citing quotes, I was referring to him quoting Joel. Even reporters with the tendency to do a Jason Quick (Quickies?) generally can't screw up writing down the words someone says.

Re: Pryzbilla says he's not coming back unless....
Now I know that Pryzbilla through part of the season probably hasn't been thrilled with Darius Miles. What gets me is that these quotes come out after a period of time in which Miles hasn't been with the team. Is he just fuming out his anger from weeks past? Or are there player(s) other then Miles who are just going through the motions? Or is it both?

If you read the quotes you would see Joel is referring to the games and practices. Regardless, I highly doubt a guy with Joel's track record would spout this stuff off because of one play. This thing has been building up for a long time.
