sry for randolph but i think we should trade him since were in a rebuilding stage right now
I'm always open to the possibility of trading any player, but I don't think the coming offseason is the optimal time to move ZR. Hopefully his knee will continue to hold up and next season he'll reassert his inside game. If that transpires, his percieved value should significantly increase. I'm a buy low sell high guy. I think Zach could be a key part of a solid Bigs rotation, so it would have to be a pretty nice offer.

I would have to agree. I'm not a big Zach Randolph fan only because I like shot blocking, defensive minded power forwards versus pure offensive threats but now is not the time. His value is a bit low right now. I think teams will want to see what he really is after the surgery. We'll know that by this time next year I think.
I'm also not a big Miles Fan and would really like to see us unload him this off season but with him coming off the inury and playing terrible, I really think we're stuck with him another year. Perhaps in 2007 we can package them both and go in another direction.
It appears the 2007 draft class may be a really good one even if we don't draft Oden.
I am certainly not opposed to dealing Zach either, and if CHI came calling this year, or another lottery team I would hope POR would strongly look at the possibilities...

what package would possibly get us chicago's NY pick? (without giving up our own).
