He got second place (behind Gerald Green) in the McDonalds' game slam dunk contest.

Re: Josh McRoberts?
I don't think McRoberts now or potential wise is even a top 5 player in this draft....

Re: Josh McRoberts?
I wasn't very impressed with him throughout the tournament and I really hope that we don't end up wasting our probabl top 3 pick on someone like him.

Which means that he's pretty athletic considering that players above 6'10" rarely even compete in dunk contests. Were you coming to the same conclusion?

I don't blame you for you comment. You are far too young to understand the beauty of the McDLT. It was a blend of perfectness.
The hot side hot and the cool side cool. What a concept. Pefection in a stirafoam packaged sandwich.

Re: Josh McRoberts?
I watched McRoberts several times this year, and in the Mac All-star the year before. He is an athletic big man with all the skills you guys already pointed out. The only thing that worries me about him is that he doesn't seem very comfortable playing with his back to the basket. Then again, when you're playing behind S. Williams and Riddick is firing up 20 + shots a night - maybe he just didn't get enough touches. But in the open court, this guy's explosive. He can run the floor - he's faster than you think, and he can rise. All the games I watched though, the only way he got his points was on dunks or pull up jumpers (he's got a pretty nice touch for a big man too) I never saw any crafty or aggressive post moves. I just don't know what he is - is he a Center? a PF? I mean, sure he's athletic, but he's not going to remind anyone of Dirk with his perimeter skills - how does he score in the NBA? I'm not saying he can't - just haven't seen it. I'm surprised he's coming out - he has a lot more to prove if you ask me. I'd pass on picking him in the top 5 for sure.
