The Schillys go to the game!
Thanks to BO (Gym Rat), and whopping good luck picking the NCAA, the Schillys were able to take in the final Blazer home game of the season, and oh man was it steller!
I read the paper this morning and I tell you what Rasheed was a NON-FACTOR no matter what Quik and Cheeks say. 8pts 2rbs and 2ast in 22 minutes don't really jump out at me as controlling the game. I would say that it was a great effort by Jason and Mo to try and downplay the behind the scenes stuff, regarding Sheed, that supposedly is going on.
So that aside we were pleased to see Pipp make his return and Z-Bo once again go off. Heck we even earned chalupas before the start of the 4th quarter.
We even got to see Amare Stoudemire posterize someone (sorry CFFI) even though he really wasn't that impressive last night.
All in all we had a great time. I even took some digital photos. I'll be posting those in a bit.

From our vantage point we saw relentless double teaming on Rasheed. I can't believe you are buying into the Oregonian's hatefest!
Also the guys were having a ball-laughing, HUGGING, high fiving, dancing...all of them...didn't look like there was an smidgen of truth to what the O has been blabbing about. Didn't you notice the tight huddles? Come on man-STOP THE HATE!
I'm sick of it!

well, when you have Randolph, Patterson and Bonzi all controlling the game, Rasheed doesn't *need* to go off. I wouldn't say that Rasheed was a huge factor in the game, but I know that his play sure didn't make or break the game.

Yah, Jason Quick is going to "down play" whatever is going on..the same man who makes up more schlock than Peter Vescay sometimes.

I too enjoyed the game, altho the 3rd quarter was by far the best quarter. It's turning into our "quarter" to either shift into overdrive, or drive over a cliff.
That one Ruben dunk was absolutely freaking insane! There's no way he didn't use Bo Outlaw (I believe that was who it was) as a lift off!
Someone tried to start a wave in the 300 level, but it died. I actually was hoping it would start again. But I think the best "waves" were in the MC, as it was rounder..

I'm not denying they looked tight, nor am I denying they were doubling Sheed.
What I was saying is both Mo and Quik said Sheed controlled the game...He didn't.

You didn't have to tell me that.....
Just following live stats I am blissfully unaware of most of the abuse heaped upon him.
Actually I could somewhat tell when that particular incident was happening even with live stats only. All in all, Sabonis had a pretty swell game last night. I think it helped having him sub in early. I'd like to see that happen more often during the playoffs.
Sabonis is capable of bringing something to the table that is needed early in the game to help push things in the right direction. They were tied when he came in last night and were up by 4 or so after his 4 minutes of play in the first quarter. That doesn't sound like much, but I think it helped to get the momentum of the game going. Of course he played the entire third quarter which sealed the Blazer win.
What I wonder is......where was this Blazer team earlier in the season when they were playing the Suns????????
