No. Another bad idea (imo). Malik has $13.5 left on his deal. He's not even an upgrade over Skinner.
We might as well keep Miles if this is the garbage we'd get back. If we can't trade him this summer (not settling for deals like this)... Let him build up his trade value next season and deal him at the deadline.

Having him back would be a bummer... BUT, trading him for garbage like Rose is just as bad. You have a no win-win situation with this idea.
....A buyout would be nice

If Rose has a shorter contract and actually plays on the court like he gives a ****...Then I'm all for it...

Trade an aging Theo, a lazy bum and a 2nd rounder for an expiring contract, a rookie somewhat oozing with potential AND a first rounder?
Isiah isn't that stupid. He's got the upper hand in any deal involving the Blazers now that it's wide known Darius is a problem here.
You could compare this to the Orlando/New York trade, I guess. But in that case, Orlando sent out a draft pick (which Isiah is best at) and talent. However all they got in return was an expiring contract and Ariza.
