Your perception of Aldridges injury history...
I am just curious as to how many people know exactly what Lamarcus Aldridges injury(ies) were (are).
I was curious since every one keeps calling him Sam Bowie, so I started looking around.

Dr. Marc Philippon of the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colo., will perform the surgery on March 1. Philippon is joining the Colorado clinic from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is widely regarded for his surgical procedures in hip arthroscopy, and his list of patients includes former Longhorn and current NFL running back Priest Holmes, hockey player Mario Lemieux and golfer Greg Norman.

So essentially he had a minor tear in the cartiledge of his hip joint and had arthroscopic surgery to repair it.
By comparison, in college Bowie had a severe leg break that took a much longer time to heal than expected.

I was unaware of any major injury history with Aldridge.

That's kinda my point, people keep trotting out that his injury history makes him look like the 2nd coming of Sam Bowie.

Re: Your perception of Aldridges injury history...
That and I believe that he played all of last year..unlike Bowie who broke bones a bazillion times each time he tried to come back from an injury. At least he parleyed into Buck Williams.

Aldridge has no injury problems. People in here make me laugh when they talk about him being injury prone.

one good hyperbole deserves another (meaning: one could argue that the same kind of statements are being made of every player we're looking at)

do not confuse saying that a players game RESEMBLES another player with saying that said player will be "next" so and so. Thats just media hype done to sell papers/tv spots/web hits.
As for the comparisons that have been made here, a lot of that was Zags just irking people, much like certain board members here used to talk about Telfair height.
don't confuse the 1 for the many.

I think Morrison can be the next Bird.
He has the same hair, build and everything. That is who you meant, right?
