Lotto Speculation

Let's assume that whichever team wins the lottery will select LeBron James.

Lebron will likely get immediate playing time, no matter where he goes. I'm guessing 30 minutes per game. That will likely mean that some players will become expendable.

The following scenarios don't take into account whether or not we have anything the other team would want or whether salaries could be matched or any of that crap. Just pure speculation at who'd be available if the team won the Lebron Lotto.

1. Cleveland: with Darius Miles, Dajuan Wagner and Ricky Davis already on this roster, somebody would have to go. You'd think it's most likely Miles, but possibly Davis. Davis is kind of a punk, could be a good fit in P-Town.

2. Denver: Nobody good. Adam Harrington? No thanks. Maybe Rodney White, but my guess is they'll be keeping him.

3. Toronto: Vince Carter perhaps? Maybe, but I guess they wouldn't deal him just yet. Voshon Leonard would be out in a heartbeat.

4. Miami: Eddie House is immediately made expendable. Mike James too. Who wants them though?

5. LA Clippers: Lots of possibilities. Keyon Dooling. Lamar Odom. Corey Maggete. Marco Jaric. At least one, maybe two of those guys would be gone if LA gets LeBron.

6. Detroit: Jon Berry? Maybe if it was Brent, I'd care. Hubert Davis? Yawn.

7. Chicago: Maybe Jalen Rose? That'd be interesting. Or Eddie Robinson. Or Rick Brunson. Just kidding.

8. Milwaukee: Desmond Mason or Michael Redd could be available.

9. New York: Latrell Spreewell or Allan Houston. Haven't they been available for like 10 years now? How many times have we almost traded for these dudes? 50?

10. Washington: Jerry Stackhouse maybe? Probably not though, with Jordan out. Seems likely to me that this team wouldn't have to move anybody to clear minutes for LeBron.

11. Golden State: Maybe Gilbert Arenas or Jason Richardson? Mike Dunleavy Jr? Boby Sura? With Dunleavy and Jiri Welch already on the team and developing pretty well, they have a lot of minutes to find for young kids anyway. I think Chris Mills will be gone no matter what. Sura too.

12. Seattle: Ray Allen or Rashard Lewis? I'd take either of them and they don't need three good 2/3 type players. More likely to be Brent Barry though.

13. Memphis: I'd guess Mike Miller would be available.

Questions? Comments? Flames?
