trade ideai think

I think orlando will make a playoff push next season, so I think they would go for this trade. It actually works out for them but it's alot of money to take in for them. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...ms=19~19~22~22

not a horrendous trade, altho Im not sure if Portland would be willing to just dump 2 players for nothing like that.

It'd be best if we could actually get a player out of the deal who'd play next year tho.

Re: trade ideai think

No to Miles. He would just hamper Nelson and Howard. We're trying to surround Howard with good people, that's why Grant Hill has been kept around for this long. GOOD PEOPLE. I've seen firsthand how much of an influence Miles has had on Zdolt.

Besides, with the 2007 FA coming and Grant Hill's contract coming off the books, we'll make a run at a stop notch star guard to help push us over into Finals contention.

I don't like the trade, but I do love Bo Outlaw. This guy is exactly the type of guy Nate McMillan wants at practice.

Re: trade ideai think

I think it's fair for both teams. Theo doesn't have any pressure besides cashing a check, so he'll be ok, but miles might actually be asked to show up for 30 games a year, which is his plan anyways. we get a ton of cap room, or at least we get to it for the first time in ahwile.

Re: trade ideai think

I'd do it in a second. Then again I think we should have traded Theo and Miles straight up for Hardaway at the trade deadline.

Re: trade ideai think

Considering that they've been shedding cap space to free up room for the 2007 class of free agents, no way Orland does it. I wish they would, though. I like the trade.

I see it completely the opposite. They're giving us expiring contracts and one of the best role models in the league. We're giving them a broken down player and a guy who tries 1 out of 3 games and who likes to show up drunk and/or stoned to practice.

We would need to give them the Detroit pick AND the 2nd round pick to get it done. And you know what? I would in a heartbeat, even if Hill retired.
