Isn't Porter still in the running to be the next head coach at Sacramento? How can he be pursuing that job and also pursuing ownership of the Blazers simultaneously?

plus, it's not like TP was the make or break $$ of the "group" trying to buy the team. He's more of a face anyways.

Nothing was said about moving the team. Rich guys can be from other cities, just like Paul Allen is.

The Key is not a money maker, that's the problem. They aren't winning, the place only holds 17,000, they make little to no money from parking & luxury boxes. If the Sonics ever want to make money, they need to split ties with Seattle (& Seattle Center) & see if the supposed private investors in Bellevue are serious about building an arena. Or Schultz & others can sell the team in 09, take the best offer from whatever city, and make millions of dollars, while Seattle center continues to lose money.
