Bonzi
S@*T that game he had in game two was somethin' amazin' I was kinda upset cause "sheed only got 18 pts and Portland did lose.......
if Portland won do you think bonzi would've got the media on his n@ts like they were on Dirk in game one
I hope Bonzi gets about 25 tonight since he is so inconsistant
Is DA playing tonight
Damn I hate being down 0-2 when portland could be up 2-0 easily
pip will not be missed as much as DA

I know plenty of old timers and HOFer's that claimed defense in the late 90's and early 2000's weren't as good as the 80's. Wilt once said he'd average 70 ppg in the modern-day NBA because defenses were so much worse. Pippen once said KG was a stats guy who disappears down the stretch of games. Bill Walton once said Rasho was a better interior defender than Tim Duncan because Tim Duncan was on the bench at the time. Barkley once said Argentina was located north of the Indian ocean.

Intangibles
in*tan*gi*bles (greek meaning: plays hard every night) - 1. word used to describe marginally talented and productive basketball players. 2. Last resort when explaining the "value" of said marginally talented and productive player. 3. Shane Battier
Love the Marc Jackson-Jeff Van Gundy combo...
"I've played with guys like Rodmonavic; good enough to keep both teams in the game."~ Jackson during gm 5 commenting as Rodmonavic scores at one end and gives up another layup.

I dont think either will play tonite.
I doubt that the media would have been on Bonzi (in the scenario you suggest) because he's not a media darling like Dirk is.

What ticks me, was there was a poll on ESPN about the best performance from one player that night, and there were like 6 players and bonzi wasn't one of them...

Bonzi seems like a good guy. I think he can be a top SG in the league, or at least a starter-caliber one if he just was a lot more consistent. Hopefully he can leave the attitude off the court. He does seem like a "joker" type person (i.e. funny).

He can be a starter-caliber 2 if he's a lot more consistent?
What was he in 00-01 and 01-02, if not a starter-caliber 2? He started 115 games for the Blazers, almost all of which were at the 2 spot.
Maybe you mean all-star caliber?

Ehh..All-star is pushing it...especially in the West. BUT, I think he can be a 20ppg guy.

What keeps Bonzi from being an Allstar is being consistant at both ends of the court. He can be great, but also pull a regular disappearing act. The attitude witht he press won't help him either. Go or bad, you need the press to say good things about you to be consisdered a ALLstar.
