Why should people waste their time if watching a game isn't worth it to them? That does not make them a coward for not watching it on purpose. They aren't cowards, they are just uninterested.

I Can't Believe That...

...anyone would base their perception of bravery or cowardice on how one reacts to the performance of a sports team! I'd guess that there are a fair number of guys in Iraq that 'gave up' on their sports team (due to having something fairly important to do)...would you say they are cowards?

Trade Wallace!

A coward is not necessarily a bad thing. Some people's lives have been saved by being cowards.

Nonetheless, there were a lot of cowards in here the last few days.

And you know it.

I was there cheering with the rest of the maniacs..........and I a broke my damn clapper that I had saved from last year. I support the Blazers as does most everyone on this board......we just see and discuss team problems and our frustrations. This board is not just a RAH RAH board. My post count is not so high, but I have been following along with the guys on this board since way back in '99 (different board of course....a few actually) and I was never called a name for disagreeing with anyone.

Why would anyone be "afraid" to support the Blazers. I love the Blazers, but I dang sure don't "like" all of them and some of the attitudes.

WHO in Iraq gave up on their favorite sports team?

And yes, cowardice applies.

There were people in here who were afraid of getting their feelings hurt, so they rooted for Dallas to win or didn't watch.

That is cowardly and it's even more cowardly BECAUSE it's only sports. I mean, come on guys, if you can't put your heart on the line for a team you've rooted for all year, that's pretty cowardly.

Maybe we should ask our moderators about coming up with some limit on the number of threads a person can start in 24 hour period?

BINTIM, no one called you a coward.

And being upset and frustrated is fine.

But there were cowards in here.

People who gave up and were afraid to root for their team at its biggest moment. People who actually talked about rooting for the Blazers to LOSE.

Cowardly.

Lucikly, our players aren't cowards. And they're not afraid to play with heart and take that flight to Dallas.

Speed just give it up dude, seriously. We all want Portland to win,but people do have the right you know not to watch the game, because they frusterate most of us so much. Did I watch the game....yes,but let others do what they want with out you breathing down everyone's back calling people out and making new threads about each idea that pops into your head.

All I'm guilty of is believing in the Blazers. I knew they'd win today. They won and now a lot of people are mad at me. A lot of you were hoping the Mavs would win so you could be right about your pessimistic view of things.

Perhap you don't understand what we're talking about here.

You are making thread after thread after thread, and people do get tired when all they see are your threads. And, most of your threads have just ONE sentence in it, with a "Go Blazers" at the end. IMHO, someone shouldn't make a thread with only one sentence in it, let alone five or 10. All of us just want you to calm down a bit in making threads. I'm not here to criticize, I hope I don't come off that way. I'm just speaking for the majority of us here when I ask you to tone it down a bit in making new threads.

This is the best idea EVER I've seen on this board, to make it a better board. We'll call it the Speed rule.

Where does everyone sign up to endorse this? When can we implement this?
