more base insults from KMurph! Hey I respect everyone who shows a basic amount of respect for the opinions of others... give respect get respect. When you start throwing blanket insults at those who disagree with you, you're absolutely right, I have zero respect for you no matter what you're discussing.

Perhaps you recall the deal I offered you a while back. You were whining for the umpteenth time about not liking the subject that other posters wanted to discuss (Chris Paul), so I said that if you'd quit acting like such an bleep with the loose insults, I'd cease to ever mentioning CP ever again. I didn't until today.

I'm fully willing to offer that deal again.

Re: Do people realize how well Martell did at the end of last season?

I think that if we're being honest with ourselves, the best we can really do is say - man, Chris Paul had a Hell of a year. Based on last year alone, it looks like we made a bad move.

If he keeps this up and Telfair/Martell/Jack don't step it up, we're gonna look pretty stupid.

But nothing's guaranteed. It's possible to still think positively without denying reality. The reality is that Chris Paul kicked serious *** last year. What's the point in trying to argue against that, really? It's a losing battle.

The way to think positively about it is that if either Paul falls off, or if any of Jack, Telfair or Martell develop into special players, it will probably work out okay.

Paul rookie year: 22.1
I think that's the key. Quantitative NBA analysis is FAR from perfect, but if people want to compare players using stats, they should use ones that matter.

Damon's year and Paul's years were WAY WAY different. Paul's rookie year was a ton better than Damon's, and yet people continue to hold up Stoudamire's rookie year as some sort of evidence that rookies don't always get better.

Good post. Based on one year, the Blazers blew it. Time will tell how much they really blew it (or if they blew it).

But regardless of whether they blew it or not by passing on Paul, they still have hope (Webster) that they didn't just flat out waste the draft pick.

(and it's not the first time you've done that).

thats whats pathetic.

Yeah Stomp and respect is a two way street.....

You mean like this?

Or this?

dude, I give what I get...it must be nice to never have to look in the mirror Stomp...

that is why drating Roy to compete with him or moving Webster to SF is asinine IMO.
Who is that an insult too? Is anyone on this board calling the shots for the Blazers? It is a flipping word Stomp, Is that word SO offensive to you? What...If I had used the word stupid or idiotic instead...would that have not bothered your delicate sensibilities? I can't believe your getting all bent out of shape over the use of a word...a word mind you that was directed towards POR mgmt making a hypothetical decison....and not anyone in this thread....grow up man....seriously

and how did you respond?....with this lovely post

Quote:
nothing like the thrill of blanket insults/baiting towards those you disagree with eh KMurph? Actually this sort of crap completely deflates any value your opinion holds for me, and makes you seem only seem to be looking for a fight.
Who are "those" people again? Don't even be trying to say I started this crap...

It is obvious I got your goat somewhere down the line and you just can't let it go....

or can you?

yes it is KMurph. Starting off this thread you stated that those who disagree with you in this matter are crazy idiots.... I have zero respect for that sort of crap regardless of whats being discussed and showed you none. Keep that sort of nonsense out of our chats and you and I will have zero problems. In fact, I bet we'll have some decent back and forth discussions. Keep going with the insults and we'll continue to have a pissing match.
