There has been a lot of speculation about what Nate really thinks about Roy. Most of it appears to be speculation based on what Nate has said that he likes in a player. This may have been posted before, but here are the words directly from his mouth:
Quote:
McMillan was guarded in commenting about Roy Wednesday.
"He's always been a solid player," McMillan said. "I think solid; I think basketball IQ very high. Does he have a great skill? I think he's solid in all areas."

This certainly doesn't lable Roy as a must have by Nate, but shows that Nate does respect his game. I guess my point is that we don't really know if Nate is extremely high on Roy, or if he just thinks he is a solid player, but wouldn't fit on the current team. So maybe we can stop saying that Roy is a must have (me included) and we can also not assume that Roy is a long shot. Roy is just a pawn in the NBA draft pool.
