Jordan Now Part of Bobcats
Jordan is now part owner and has a management position with the Bobcats.
Just a hunch, but I would guess Jordan would like Gay's athletic ability over the white boy.
Thoughts?

I'm hoping so.

If you want Morrison, I would think this is good news for Blazers. But I have nothing to base my hunch on.
That's why I was fishing for thoughts.

Probably wasn't the most politically correct thing to say, but that is just my hunch feeling so I said it. I was thinking specifically if the Bobcats had to choose between Morrison and Gay, for whatever reason I think MJ will lean to (being) Gay. (Again not politcally correct)
The pre-game show for the NBA finals, it was the announcers (one being Ramsey) thoughts that MJ would have a big say in the up coming draft . . . for whatever that is worth . . . something about if you know MJ's style, he will want to be very invovled in the draft selection.

hard to say what is going to happen with trades and all but i kind of doubt morrison will be there at #4. i'm not sure what portland would have to do to move up but they seem to have too many players there and are probably looking to move one or two.

I think it all comes down to Toronto. I don't see the Bulls or now the Cats taking Morrison. On the pre-grame show they were confirming the rumor that Toronto is trying to trade the pick. They even mentioned Ptd as a possible player for that pick (that's right the Blazers got mentioned in the pre-game show of the NBA finals )
Personally I hope Blazers don't bite jut to ensure the morrison pick . . .

No crap. The Wizards are still kind of an odd franchise but they're about a zillion times better off WITHOUT Michael Jordan.
No disrespect he was a great player, but I grew to dislike him intensely during his period in DC.

I was thinking precisely the same thing. Charlotte needs a two, but I think they'll look at both of the top SFs and deal with Gerald Wallace as an interim solution. I think Jordan may look at Morrison as a bigger version of John Paxson or Steve Kerr.
Charlotte's smart move would be to trade with Minnesota to move down to the 6th spot and to obtain another asset. Since they're way under the cap, they could make a financially lopsided trade. Minnesota could grab Aldridge (if he isn't gone already) and Charlotte could likely still get Roy, Morrison, Gay or Bargnani.
