And last year, there's no way that Zach was ready to play major minutes. And didn't Kemp say that one of the reasons he wanted a trade was so that Zach could get more minutes? And wasn't Kemp in Orlando all year - so what's your excuse for why Randolph didn't get more playing time this year?
Sheesh.....

isn't it amazing how views of our team can get so distorted?
I was going to start a thread on this but I think it fits here.
I think we should all thank Rasheed Wallace and ref Tim Donaghy for Zach's development and ability to get more minutes. Rasheed's 7 game suspension set the stage for Zach to not only get more minutes but to do so under tremendous pressure for a young guy like him. That is when Zach turned the first corner to star-dom and these playoffs are providing yet another corner for him to cross over into super-stardom. Also, let's credit Zach himself-he put in the hard work and effort to be where he is.
Good luck is where preparation and opportunity meet-Zach was ready when the opportunity came. It is a lesson for everyone.
Damon did the same thing-he stayed prepared and now he too has been given a great opportunity. He also is seeing success.
It's a pleasure to see. I am very proud of them.
GO BLAZERS!
