Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
If the team moved or if they somehow personally offended me beyond repair.

If the team moved I'd be done with them. As long as they are the Portland Trailblazers they are my team.

Yeah, I most likely wouldnt stop being a Blazers fan unless they trade Martell or Sebastian...Id be mad for a long time too. But they need to get rid of Darius in my opinion

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
if we dealt martell for david wesley b/c nate wants more vet leadership, bassy and zach for kandi man and a future pick, viktor for jason kapono,, etc you get the picture. i'd prolly stil watch the games but i'd be so disgusted if we did trades like that.

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
Nothing.
Moving would suck, and I'd follow the team a bit less, but still care about it.
As far as personnel changes go, I'd definitely be disappointed to see any of the following go:
Webster
Telfair or Jack (even though one kinda needs to)
Khryapa
Outlaw (to a degree)
But any of these changes wouldn't preventing me from caring altogether. If your interest in "your" team is based solely upon the personnel, you probably aren't actually a fan of the team.

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
If they moved they would cease to exist for me. There would be no Portland Trail Blazers. Other than that though I'll be a Blazer fan even when I'm dead. And when I'm dead and gone if there is anyway I can influence a game to the Blazers favor I'll do it!

It could also be after the spelling couldn't it, depending on how he said it?
But he's actually talking about grammar not spelling so I guess it doesn't much matter. Never mind.

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
I couldn't follow the team if they moved. There's no real reason besides "it just wouldn't be the same."
Beyond that, I'll follow this team through thick and thin, hoping against hope that they'll get lucky enough to win it all some day.

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
I have tried to stop being a Blazer fan. I seriously tried this year. Seriously. I failed. I can't stop. Perhaps it was the lobotomy, but I'm back and I will be attending the draft party and I have entered the preseason schedule into my PDA.

AMEN Brother! Till I die! It's not the players or the management that keeps me a fan, it's the franchise itself and the history it has with me growing up as a Blazer fan. Besides, for the crap I've endured living away from Oregon for the last 21 years as a Blazer fan (that aint easy in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, etc) I have to root for them till their or my last dying days....

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
I was a Broolin Doger fan in the fifties and a St Louis Rams fan as well. They both moved and I still like to follow them but contending does help now.
I really only follow the Blazers as it takes too much time to follow a team seriously like I like to do. I follow the Beavers some as well, but not nearly as seriously as the Blazers. Everybody know me as sort of odd as I still follow the Blazers. If they should move I would follow them wherever. It would be disappointing to not be able to go to a game now and them though.
In short I will be a Blazer fan as long as there is a team I guess.
Yeah, maybe I am weird afterall???
