what would it take to push u over the edge
I was just thinking about this. What would have to happen for u to not be a blazer fan anymore.
Telfair being traded having z-bo miles theo all of them still on the roster and we select roy with the 4th pick if that happens im not gonna be a blazer fan anymore.

Nothing will "push me over the edge". I'll always be a Trail Blazer fan.

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
It depends on what you mean by "not be a Blazer fan" Are you saying that you stop going to games? Cause if so I stopped being a Blazer fan last December. Does it mean I don't watch them on TV? Cause I do that all the time. Or would I have to stop caring about them all together?
I suppose if another major league team moved into town and they were significantly better than the Blazers I might become a fan of that team and ignore the Blazers until such time as it was convenient to jump back on the band wagon. If they moved to another city I would have a hard time caring about them. But anything else and I'll probably still be a fan of the Blazers.

One bullet right between the eyes would stop me from being a Blazer fan.

Even then. Who else am I going to cheer for? There isn't another team within 1500 miles that isn't a hated rival. Looks like I'm stuck being a Blazers fan, even if they move to St. Louis or Las Vegas.

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
If they moved. I could be less of a fan if we were offered a hockey or baseball or football team. =) Blazers would still be my first love... but I'd be sneaking out at night sometimes if you know what I mean.

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
Moving wouldn't be a deal-breaker on its own for me... I've lived outside of Oregon for the vast majority of the last 15 years, and I don't really care where the team is. I wonder if that's the case for people that still live in Portland or the area, though.
As for what it would take from me: I don't know. Probably an overriding concern for PR and/or financial considerations COUPLED WITH a move... that might break me down.
I would say, "never" but watching a team like the Royals in KC makes me wonder

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
Moving perhaps... other things would be if the whole team came over to my place and kicked my dog, or peed in my yard.
I would also probably stop being a fan if they started a "clothes optional" policy on the court, or if they invented a device that would poke you in the eye every time you turned on a Blazers game.

Re: what would it take to push u over the edge
Let's look at an extreme case here, shall we?
Let's say the Blazers pull a "Baltimore Ravens". Portland moves to, say, San Diego. The Blazers change their name to the Jugadores.
Are you now a San Diego Jugadores fan?
I MIGHT be, if I felt an affinity towards the current team. But that happening, on top of the last couple of years? I might root for the Sonics or the NBA in general a while (hoping for a new Trail Blazers team a la the Browns).
