Re: no Morrison for ya'll
hate to ruin this for ya'll but just came back from the Bull board and they say that Steven A. Smith is reporting that Lamarcus will be the number 2 pick, NOW WHAT. Guess ya'll now choose between Brando Roy, TT, or randy Foye who is it.

Re: no Morrison for ya'll
Aldridge at 4
then trade #7, #30 and #31 to Atlants for #5 to ensure we get Gay.
Can't fail draft at that point.
Or if Morrison really is the teams desire ship 4 and 7 to Chicago for 2

I'd go Gay at 4 and Thomas at 7 at that point

Re: no Morrison for ya'll
Yea but what he also said on the HotList was that the deal that was most likely to happen yesterday, the BOS-POR deal, was dead as of now. The reason being, he said he hears that Bargnani will go #1, and Morrison #3. So he said there is a great chance Gay or Roy will be available at the #7 spot for Boston, and if that were to happen, they think they could draft one of them and trade them and they would be able to get more then Telfair for the 7th pick, now that Roy or Gay could be there at the 7th. So he is saying that the Boston trade is off now. Regardless, this will be a very interesting draft.

Yep. Doesn't sound like they would, but we could still hope

I'd be happy with Gay and Thomas also. Im just praying we dont walk away from this draft with just Roy and some project in the late 1st.

Re: no Morrison for ya'll
Chad Ford just said that even Morrison's agent thinks he's going to Charlotte.

Re: no Morrison for ya'll
I'd like to have seen Morrison in a Blazers uni next fall but I'm increasingly resigned that this is not to be. I will live with whatever decision the Blazers make (but I'll personally be POd if they draft Thomas, who I'm not sold on, and will probably be gone anyway by No. 4).
Nonetheless, I've watched Morrison for years even though I have no loyalties to Gonzaga (like that team, though, a lot, and their coach, and I greatly respect them) and I wish him the very very best wherever he goes just because he's a admirable human being.
But I kind of loath the thought of him doing damage TO the Blazers next season if he realizes the incredible promise in the NBA that he has shown at Gonzaga.
