Any interest in #2 and #16 for #4 and #7?
Just an inquiring question from a Bulls fan.
I'd offer you Duhon for Dickau as sweetner as well, but Du would have to agree to the trade, and I'm not sure whether he would or not.

No. Moving up 2 spots and dropping 9 spots from the #7 isn't worth it.

Re: Any interest in #2 and #16 for #4 and #7?
I don't think so because with 4+7, we have a good shot at getting 2 of the top 6. #16 is a long way down. If it were 2+(10-12) and Brewer were available, maybe.
Who do you want if you trade down to #4?

It probably isn't worth it unless you guys are set one one (or two) players that you won't get if you don't trade up.
If the Bulls are set on Aldridge, which might just happen, and Charlotte takes Morrison, you lose out on your two favorites in the draft. I'm not sure that's going to happen, but it very well could.
It's a question of whether you are willing to give something up to secure "your guy."
I also heard a rumor this morning -- which probably won't happen -- that the Bulls would trade the #16 and Duhon for the #13 pick from Philly. Would #13 and #2 be enough?

Re: Any interest in #2 and #16 for #4 and #7?
I wouldn't personally. I don't value any of the prospects significantly enough to lose out on a second of the "top 6" (presuming at least one falls, which seems likely). It's not a completely unresonable suggestion, I just don't think it's worth it personally.

What's with you and these horrible rip off type of trades to other teams? Gutting the Bulls for junk.

The only way we would ever consider that bull**** trade offer.

Re: Any interest in #2 and #16 for #4 and #7?
Rick Bucher just said on ESPN that Portland and Chicago have been talking about a trade that would land Portland the #2 pick because Charlotte is going to take Morrison.
Take that for what you will.

Re: Any interest in #2 and #16 for #4 and #7?
Personally, I don't value the #2 pick much more highly than I do the #4 pick. Duhon is irrelevant (I don't think he's better than Blake) and the drop from #7 to #16 is a steep one.
So: thanks but no, thanks.

His offer was better than yours.
But you had this type of offer to the Raps and Wolves and had both threads locked and deleted

Re: Any interest in #2 and #16 for #4 and #7?
Dickau can now only be traded out as one single player... we can take back multiples in return
at least until about 90 days or so after he is on the team. then he can be combined with other players in a trade
he can be traded for a draft pick..... such as Dickau and the #7 for the #5 since Atlanta can absorb the salary
