What is next?
So the Blazers have made all these moves. (Which I love)
What is next? I read that we will be looking to trade Zach and Miles? But for what?
Any ideas?

Re: What is next?
trading zach and miles are u drunk. these two are the only ones under contract who have experience. Portlands future doesnt look good with all these rookies and now u want to trade all these veterans. good luck portland.

Re: What is next?
the only thing miles and randolph have experience is getting arrested, hurting team chemistry, pissing off coach and other players, which ultimately gives the media outside of portland that our whole roster is the same bunch of thugs from 2001.

Re: What is next?
My guess is that Zach remains a Blazer but they try to trade Miles asap.
However, according to Nash last night, he said the very next step is to try and get Joel to re-sign
So my guess is that we learn withing 2 weeks if Joel is a Blazer anymore, then, if he left we trade Miles, dixon, our 834 future second rounders, for a big, as well as bring over Sinonovic for summer league. If Joel stays, we trade for a backup SF.

Re: What is next?
Wasn't there also the rumored NY Knicks trade (Darius for their #20 and Mo Taylor)?
I'm not sure anyone knows what's next, but the priorities probably fall somewhere like this:
1) Re-sign Joel.
2) Get rid of Darius
3) ???
4) Profit!

Perhaps the first step in re-signing Joel will be trading Miles.

Who is this guy?
Do you even know what you're talking about? Miles was one of the worst players on the roster with the way he acted during the end of last season.
Keep Zach, he'll be fine without a bad person to follow. But for gods sake, deal Miles.

Re: What is next?
Most of you seem to be forgetting that Joel isn't going to resign unless he's sure that the attitude is changed. That's Miles being shipped out of town. Either Miles needs to be gone first or Joel is going to need a garuntee that he's good as gone.
With Allen still running the show and not drafting a SF, I can't say that's a given.

What is up with this troll, has he already gotten his fill of Barg's? I know you thought Toronto would extort both the 4 & 7 picks for number 1, but we all told you it wasn't happening. Go play in your own yard, we will tend to our team.

Re: What is next?
Dealing Miles is a prerequisite #2 for re-signing Joel. #1 was trading Theo.
I think that Theo was putting off some serious negative energy in the locker room toward the end of the year, which led to Joel's comments in the media.
However, if Chicago comes forward with $50M will Joel turn it down???

Re: What is next?
Darius Miles will be gone. It's just a matter of who we have to package together to get him out of here.
And it doesn't necessarily mean the reins will be handed over to a rookie. We could very easily trade for another veteran. We have enough pieces (players, picks, cash) to get a very good SF if we wanted to.
Zach is 50-50 for being here. Some ESPN analysts believe he won't be here. It seems odd, though, to trade for Raef and draft Aldridge if he WAS going to be here.
I only hope Raef is traded again. That's a huge contract for not much production, and we need some serious rebounders and defenders at the PF spot.
