I disagree. NVE was more instrumenal in the Mavs winning today than Dirk, IMO. Wallace matched Dirk in the second half, but nobody (meaning either Damon or Bonzi) was able to stick with NVE's production.

Agree 100%.

I actually think Nick's swagger rubbed off on Dirk and Nash.

Without Nick Blazers win this one in the first half.

NVE hit some big 3's, had a pretty solid game. But down the stretch, it was Dirk with all the points, Dirk driving to the rim, Dirk takin all the big shots, it just make's it so much more logical and easier for a coach and for a team, and so much harder for an opposing team when they dont have a superstar. Teams know who it goes to, and so then its up to the role players to provide.

Portland has nothing to be ashamed of. They almost pulled off something that no one has ever done before.

I am proud of them. I don't get to see this team play much but to come back from 3 games down, tie the series to almost winning it in 7 is amazing. Just amazing.
