just curious cuz some teams got some guys and it seems they arent gonna sign them

second round picks....cuz obviously 1st rounders are guaranteed

Well there are cases (Vasquez) where some 1st rounders don't even come over immediately.

The rights to Rookies can be traded up till the time that they are actually signed. A 1st rounders contract is a Guranteed contract, but it's not a gurantee that he will receive the contract.

im just curious as to if u think hassan adams,james white,novak,paul davis,pj tucker,bobby jones,james augustine,dee brown,paul millsap,guillermo diaz or ryan hollins

u think any of these guys will make a roster???

Adams, White, Novak, Davis Tucker, Augustine, Brown, Millsap, Diaz will all be on a roster. Hollins most likely will too, Bobby Jones, idk.

-Hassan is a good bench player for NJ.
-White is doing good for Indiana, and they have said they are pleasantly suprised.
-Novak is a lights out shooter and Houston needs all the youth they can get.
-Davis and Augustine are quality big men, and there is always a place for the in the NBA.
-Tucker is fine with Toronto, they are trying to build a uptempo team and an undersized 3/4 is fine in those offenses.
-Brown will be a decent point guard. Him and Deron are good friends, and I think they'll work fine together. Utah's got a good PG tandem.
-Millsap is definitely going to stay in Utah, he's a beast and a lot of teams will be mad they passed him up.
-Diaz is going to be pretty good, atheletic PG who has some range. Would've been a perfect fit for PHX.
-Hollins and Bobby the only reason I'm skeptical is because I think they will be in the NBDL. Atleast Hollins as he needs to add on a lot of weight and needs some PT.

But these guys were all 2nd rounders, a high % of them are signed. So I don't really get why you are asking if they will be on the roster.

i ask cuz i havent seen links sayin any of them are signed...of the ones i named.....i think diaz will be good in phoenix if he signs with them

He can't. He was drafted by LAC, so they will sign him. If you're a 2nd round pick you can't just sign with any team. Most 2nd rounders don't get signed until training camp.

It's interesting to see the Bulls yet to sign Thomas and Thaba. Maybe the signings were stalled since they had plans of swapping one of them for KG.

I guess they had to deal with Ben Wallace and their trades first and foremost. I think everyone will get signed in the first round except for Freeland and maybe Pecherov. I thought we were planning to sign Sergio. Whatever happened to that when he was in town.

One rookie I can assure you will not sign, is Yotam Halperin- #53. Don't need him though. He's a PG.
But wait a minute, how's the rule going? If one team doesn't sign a player until a certain date- he just becomes a free agent? or he's still contracted to team/rights owned by the team?
