Now fast Forward, Sonics depart for OKC. All of a sudden the NBA has 1 team and 2 similar markets, that are already splitting air time for sports. 55% of that Market is ticked that they just lost their franchise. Would it make sense to then step forward and Alienate the other 45%?

Why distress 2 markets when you can distress just one and hope that the one uses the other like a crutch?
Soooooo what you're really saying is Paul Allen is keeping the team after having the competition removed so that ticket sales will increase by um 10%? This is some crazy stuff going on this Summer.

I am just excited to see Roy play in person, now you're telling me Seattle fan is going to be sitting next to me? Next thing you're going to tell me is that it's raining outside..............oh crap.......it is raining..........Schilly, you're good!

Re: Shoe on the other foot...

If Portland moved, it didn't matter if the NBA put together an All-Star team and gave it to Portland as the new franchise, I would be done with basketball forever.

I could never throw my passion into a sport after losing a team; the next team that came to Portland could move, too.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
