Marcus Slaughter

Here's a guy maybe the Blazers should invite to training camp, especially if they have traded Miles by then. I saw him mentioned in this Draftexpress article on summer league, they think he definitely belongs on an NBA roster but the Lakers won't have room for him. Here's a couple links:

It'd be interesting to see Slaughter at training camp, but he's kind of a 3/4 tweener. I don't know if he can defend the 3 or score on the 4 at the nba level.

I'd rather see POR give Slaughter a shot, rather than Ha...who IMO is not an NBA caliber player.

Well, idk. By shot meaning training camp roster, then sure. But I'm not sure we should cut Ha for an undrafted rookie.

I'm not saying Slaughter is bad, as I think he'd be a decent bench player. But I would only pick him up if we had an empty roster spot.
