The Marcus Slaughter thread made me think of this.....

I would love to see Kevin Pittsnogle get a try-out. Many scouts were saying he is just the next Raef LaFrentz (probably why he didn't get drafted), but I do not buy that.

He is pretty athletic for his size, and Raef never shot the ball like he does.....Granted Raef could stick it, but only mid-range, and never with much consistency.

I like Pittsnogle, he would come cheap, and he is easy to root for. Just a big, friendly, country boy...No ego, no b.s., just a good guy that plays hard. I like him, kind of a poor-man's Morrison, with size.

That's exactly what he is.... Garrity was somewhat athletic when he first entered the league....

Yeah, that is probably the best comparison for Pitts..There are some good undrafted FA's right now, but we just don't have the roster spot for them. Hopefully when we trade Darius, we will get another roster spot open and can sign one of these guys.

I dont think he is playing well at all in the summer league. Just way too soft.
